Ronda is a beautiful town in southern Spain, only about an hour's drive from Marbella, or a three hour drive if I'm holding the map and I take you the scenic way. Hey, at least the Wehkamps got to see the famous Rock of Gibraltar.
We left our hotel in the morning and made our way back down the dirt road and up into Ronda proper.
Before hitting the sights we started the day with a traditional Spanish sampling of churros con chocolate.
Do you think we liked them?!
Ronda is said to be the birthplace of bullfighting. We didn't get to tour the bull ring but I'm sure it's much like any other. Here's a picture.
What really brings people here however, is the deep El Tajo river gorge. The view from the bridge is dizzying to say the least.
An amazing city full of cobblestone streets, shops, cafes and spectacular views.
We stayed until mid-afternoon and then hopped back into our car for our quick drive to Sevilla.
